Pokerstars Bonus – 100% up to $600
Pokerstars Marketing Code – TEN500
Pokerstars Bonus Code – Stars600
Players using Linux computers can play at Pokerstars using WINE. WINE is a free, open source program that allows players to run any online poker room. Recent upgrades offer players a great playing experience that rivals a Windows system. Linux users can now resize the poker tables as well….ahhh.
Linux users can play at Pokerstars by following these steps:
1/ Download and Install WINE (will open in new window). Come back here when you’re done.
2/ Write down Pokerstars marketing code TEN500, and Pokerstars bonus code Stars600. Players need to use both of these codes during the registration and deposit process to get their 100% bonus up to $600. Keep them close so you have them when they are asked for. It’s free money for doing what you’re going to do anyways, you might as well take it.
4/ Drag & drop the Pokerstars install file into the WINE Windows folder.
5/ Open the Pokerstars client and register your new account. Early in the registration process Pokerstars will ask for your marketing code, enter TEN500 into that field. During the deposit process they will ask for your bonus code, enter Stars600 into that field.
6/ Have fun!
Linux users can expect a dramatic improvement from a year ago. The system runs well, the graphics are better, and as I mentioned above, the windows are resizeable. The lobby works well, and so does the rest of the room and features. Linux users rejoice!
Pokerstars Review
Pokerstars is the largest online poker room in the world. With over 200,000 players during peak hours, you can find just about any kind of game you can think of. Beyond the huge traffic numbers, Pokerstars also runs more tournaments, more cash games, and more promotions than any other room. Whether you want to play for real money or play money, there’s always something interesting going on.
Pokerstars has sit-n-go tournaments of every shape and size. Of course NL Hold’em is still the most popular game, but sit-n-go tournaments in other poker games are popular as well. Omaha, Stud, Razz, HORSE, HOSE, mixed Hold’em and even Badugi sit-n-go’s get action. Sit-n-go tournaments start for as little as $1.10 and go up to $2190.
Pokerstars has the largest weekly tournament online, called the Sunday Million. The Sunday Million has gotten so big that it actually has a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool now. Players can buy into the Sunday Million directly for $215, or satellites can be played for as little as $1 cash, or 400 Frequent Player Points.
Pokerstars also has the third largest weekly tournament, called the Sunday Warmup. The Sunday Warmup has a guaranteed prize pool of $750,000, and has a direct buy-in of $215. Players can satellite into the Sunday Warmup for as little as $.50, or 400 FPP’s.
Clearing the Pokerstars Bonus
Pokerstars allows players 6 months to clear as much of their bonus as they can, and it’s paid in $10 increments. For most players, this is plenty of time to clear the entire $600 bonus.
Players need to earn 17 VIP Player Points (VPP’s) for every dollar in bonus. In cash games, players can earn up to 3 points per hand. Partial points are awarded for micro-stakes games that rake a minimum of $.20. This is good news for micro-stakes players who previously could not earn VPP’s. Cash game players who mostly play limits at or above $.50/1 NL or $1/2 FL will have an easy time clearing the bonus.
In tournaments, players earn 5 VPP’s per dollar paid in fees. So, if you play in a $10+1 tournament, you’ll earn 5 VPP’s, or $.29 in bonus. That’s a decent return, allowing tournament players to earn the bonus fairly quickly.
Every online poker player should have a Pokerstars account. Fortunately, Linux users can finally play at Pokerstars and have a great playing experience. Give ‘em a try.
Be sure to write down Pokerstars marketing code TEN500, then Pokerstars bonus code Stars600. Download WINE, download Pokerstars, drag the install file into the Windows WINE folder, and play at Pokerstars on your Linux computer. It’s that simple.
